T.G.I.F!

Seems like I am always updating at such an early morning hour. I am hoping to go to bed soon. However, I am not quite tired. Even though, I just yawned a second ago. Oh well!

We are taking the youth and my Preteen S.S. Class to a Back To School Rally in Campbellsburg later in the PM of today. It should be fun. They are going to have a grill out and other fun stuff after the service.

Have you noticed a few new things on my blog. Like down below? ZipNadaZilch and 6 Dollar Click? Well, I'll come back with a post about that soon! And don't forget to check out the links over there ----> If you are on the computer you might as well get paid/rewarded with a giftcard or something!!

Also, please please subscribe/follow me!! And leave me comments when you are inspired too! I love to read them. :)

Have a happy nite,

Review: 5-Hour ENERGY

I know 5-hour ENERGY has been out for a while now. I've never tried it though except for a taste from one that my husband had several months ago. I am not sure what the flavor was at the time, but honestly I just didn't like it! However, I was given a mission to try out 5-hour Energy! So, I tried it out today. I tried it about 9 this morning on my way to church.

It is 3:30pm now and I am still going strong. It was kind of a tiresome morning when I woke up. I hadn't gone to bed until after 3AM! You know I needed something to get me going. I can definitely say that this made me alert and energized. I was even dancing around in the hallway at church this morning and another Sunday School teacher said I was crazy. I told her that I had a 5-hour ENERGY and she said she was definitely going to try it out too! The flavor that I had was Berry and I was shocked at how good it tasted! One of the great things about it for me as a diabetic is that it is Sugar-free! Plus for those watching calories, it is only 4 calories. Now, that is not bad at all!

What makes it work? It has B-vitamins, nutrients and as much caffeine as a good cup of coffee. That is what I'm talking about. You'll be bright eyed and bushy tailed... Well, maybe not the tailed part. So, I will definitely be getting 5-hour ENERGY again! Hope that if you are considering something to help you, you give this a try as well. Please note that I was sent a sample to try from smiley360.com and to share my thoughts.

Have a happy day,

Waiting...

Waiting for my boat to come in! Have you ever felt that way? It seems like everything that I wish was happening in my life is at a dead stand still. So, I wait.

Have I mentioned that I don't like waiting!

I think I may post more on this topic soon.

Have a happy nite,

Thursday

Recipe: Smokey Mountain Chicken

Something I've been wanting to share for a while now! I can't remember when the first night it was that I fixed it. But, it is my favorite chicken recipe now! Hands down. You need to try it. It is simple to make. Low in carbs. Very Yummy!! I gave the recipe to my MIL this week and she made it and said it is a favorite of hers now. She really liked it. It is supposedly a mock recipe for the restaurant Ruby Tuesday. I've not tried this dish there and I don't think it is still on their menu. Please let me know if you have ever had this there!

Mock Ruby Tuesday's Smokey Mountain Chicken

3-4 thin chicken breasts
BBQ sauce (I use Montgomery Inn)
Onion and Pepper Slices
Swiss Cheese
Bacon (I use Turkey Bacon)
Salt, Pepper

I lined a cooking sheet with parchment paper, however you can just spray it with Pam, add 3-4 thin chicken breasts , salt and pepper the chicken. Then I put onion and pepper slices on them (this can be skipped if you don't like them, I don't add them for hubby. He doesn't like them.) Then add about a tablespoon of BBQ Sauce on top. Then I put 2 slices of turkey bacon on top of that. You can use regular bacon. Okay, it is ready to cook on 350 for about 20 to 25 minutes. Then put a slice of swiss cheese on it and put back in oven for 5 minutes. And once that is melted, it is done and ready to enjoy! You can add any two sides to the meal that you want. I usually do Broccoli and some sorta potato :)
Side note: Rotel can be used instead of bbq to give it some kick. Also you can buy onions & peppers frozen in a bag that has Italian seasoning if you want.

This would go great with my dessert Something Fantastical!
Enjoy and let me know in the comments how it tasted :)
Have a happy day,

3:30 AM

Have you ever been so tired that your head hurts? Yea that is me right now. Yet, I am wide awake watching an episode of Doctor Who.

Hubby is off work for the rest of the week and so there was no need to go to bed early. I am sure we will go to sleep eventually.  So there is no need to worry about my physical well being. Haha.

That is all.  Hope everyone is all snug in their beds!

Have a happy nite!

Sunday

I know, You know

Oh no! Looks like I lost a follower! Well, happy Sunday. It has been a long time. I know this. You know this. I am sorry.
What has been going on? Nothing much, really. Just that four-letter word. LIFE. Yep, life is what has been happening. So, since my last post in February I have gone back to the IRS and have been laid off. Wow. I went back to work towards the end of February and got laid off the beginning of June. I have been laid off since and I am currently looking for a job. Nothing is hiring around here that I would enjoy working at. I've considered going back to school and that is definitely an option. I just need to get to moving towards that goal. I've got to take into consideration cost, times, and transportation. I have started the FASFA and I am going to get that done tonight.
My hubby has been applying at other places because his job is getting to him and he wants something that will better the family. I hope he gets something that he enjoys and that pays nice.
We have been trying to find a place closer to the church so we can move. There hasn't been that many options. haha
We haven't made a visit back up to see family in WV yet. Hopefully we can do that soon. We are going to be heading to General Conference in October though. That will be nice to get away. It is in St. Louis! Maybe I should post some photos from the last time we were in that area.
Gotta get ready to head to church. Special services tonight, here is a picture I made for Powerpoint.

So, any questions? Any ideas on what I should blog about next? Let me know! Have a happy day,
