Pregnancy Update

Date: July 29, 2014

Due Date: According to my LMP, it is 01/31/2015. The date was changed but changed back. If it changes again, I'll let you know.

How Far Along: 13w3d

Bump Pic: Once I start showing, I'll include this. I keep forgetting to take a picture for my own records even though I am not showing!

Baby’s Size: Lemon

Symptoms: Nausea, some headaches, tender breasts... still having little cramps due to the growing of my baby.

Weight Gain: None so far.

Maternity Clothes: Right now, I am still in my regular clothes.

Cravings: Still Dark Chocolate & Mexican/TexMex Food.

Food Aversions: Nothing as of right now.

Gender Guess: Not sure yet. We will be finding out though.

Medical Happenings: I had my OBGYN appointment today at 11am and met with another doctor in the group. She was really nice. She couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. Said it was just probably too soon. The office didn't have an ultrasound machine so she sent me to another location to get an ultrasound for peace of mind. It took me about 15 minutes to get over to that location. I was called back not too long after I got there for the ultrasound. As soon as the doctor there put the wand on my stomach, we could see the baby moving around. So cute. Also, she found the heartbeat right away and it was 168 BPM. And I got to hear it for the first time today! So sweet. The baby was head down with its feet in the air. I wish I could have got an ultrasound picture of that! She said that may be why the other doctor couldn't find the heartbeat from how the baby was in there. On August 4th I see my Perinatal Doctor again. Still haven't decided on an insulin pump. I also had an appointment today with my endocrinologist at 1:20pm and I don't have to see her again until after I deliver since my Perinatologist is taking over the blood sugar control. I had all good reports there.

Emotional Stuff: Still get moody and cry at silly things.

Belly Button – In or Out?: In. I don't see this changing, but we will see.

Movement: I can't feel anything yet! I can’t wait though!

Sleep: Sleep is still bad. Last night, I got no rest. I think that is why I currently have a headache because I had little sleep last night. I woke up at 3 to check my levels and then went back to bed but just laid there. Around 5 something, I was just laying there and got on my phone for about a half hour. Went to the fridge got a little box of apple juice and drank it. Eventually fell back to a light sleep, waking up off and on. Still think I'll get a maternity pillow or something soon.

What I am looking forward to:
Getting past the 14 week mark since that is around the same time that I miscarried back in 2009.

What I miss:
Nothing. Happy to be pregnant!

Any questions just ask! <3 br="" nbsp="">

Have a happy day,

My Doctor May Have A Heart Attack

So, I looked at my blood test results from the blood work that I had to get yesterday and every single test came back in range. My A1C is 5.6! Are you kidding me? That is amazing. Just a month ago it was 6.4.  My cholesterol and triglycerides are amazing. Nothing came back out of range. The last time I saw her I had several things come back out of range! Can't you tell I am just beyond excited about this? And I know she will be to when I see her on the 29th!!!

I just hope she doesn't have that heart attack... lol

Well, this was worth documenting! Thank you Jesus!!

Have a happy nite,

I know it has been a long time... Exciting Update!!!

I guess it looks as if I left blogger forever. I am here though. I just didn't feel I had anything interesting to say and that no one reads it anyway.  But I have a few followers so I know that isn't true and at least a couple people reads my blog! Well this past Sunday, we announced to everyone that we are pregnant. We showed them in a unique way.  We played the video during announcements at church and there was a gasp that went throughout the church. It was great. Click on the youtube link and you can watch it too.
We went to visit my family in WV for the 4th of July and told them at that time. I had them promise that they wouldn't blab anything on FB or any other social media until we did the announcing.
Hubby and I are excited!
8w2d Ultrasound-first visit

10w2d Ultrasound|Heart Rate 167 bpm

Not a very good ultrasound.. lol

First trimester is almost over!
Date: July 23, 2014
Due Date: According to my LMP, it would be 01/31/2015. According to the first ultrasound, it’s 02/09/15 but a second ultrasound 2 weeks later showed closer to my last cycle so it may be changing back. I'll find out at the end of this month at my next appointment. Either way, this baby is due at the dead end of winter! I hope it doesn't snow on the day I go into Labor. lol
How Far Along: 12w4d (going from my LMP)
Bump Pic: Once I start showing, I'll include this.

Baby’s Size: Large Plum
Symptoms: Nausea, some headaches, tender breasts...  Some little cramps due to the growing of my baby.
Weight Gain: None so far.
Maternity Clothes: My friend let me borrow 3 maternity blue jean skirts. I just ordered a maxi skirt on Old Navy's site today. I have a few maternity blouses and one t-shirt that my MIL got me during my last pregnancy. Right now, I am still in my regular clothes.
Cravings: Dark Chocolate & Mexican/TexMex Food.
Food Aversions: Nothing as of right now.
Gender Guess: Not sure yet. We will be finding out though.
Medical Happenings: I have another OBGYN appointment on the 29th and then on August 4th I see my Perinatal Doctor again. I've been trying to decide whether or not to do an insulin pump. My Perinatal doctor recommends it. I have to figure out how much the cost and then that might help me with the decision.
Emotional Stuff: I cry over stupid things. And it isn't just a small cry, it is tears flowing, ugly cry.  Oh and I get emotional a lot more over movies and videos that I watch.
Belly Button – In or Out?: In. I don't see this changing, but we will see.
Movement: I can't feel anything yet! I can’t wait though!
Sleep: Sleep is getting worse. Maybe I'll get a maternity pillow or something.
What I am looking forward to: Hearing the baby's heart beat. Although, I have seen it on both of the ultrasounds, I haven't heard it.

What I miss: Nothing at all.  Very thankful to be pregnant.

Well, if you have any questions, ask below! :) Not sure if I am going to update every week or every couple weeks. We will see. I might have something to add after my appointment.

Have a happy day,
