35 Week Pregnancy Update with Pictures! 4 weeks to go!! :)

Date: Dec 31, 2014 (Happy New Year!!!)

Due Date: January 31, 2015

How Far Along: 35 weeks and 4 days

Bump Pic: Here are two selfie pictures of me at 35 weeks 1 day.

Here is one from 35 weeks and 2 days.

What I miss: Seeing family members for the holiday.

Baby’s Size: One website says Honeydew melon and the other says Pineapple. Both of which I have already used. LOL So I don't know.

Symptoms: Still short of breath and still wake up a lot to go pee in the middle of the night. I also think he gets in my ribs because there is some pain there.

Weight Gain: I weighed 225.6 at the Perinatal Center on Monday.

Maternity Clothes: I am still wearing some regular clothes which are the bigger shirts I have and the skirts are elastic skirts. LOL I need to buy some nursing tanks, another bra & maybe another maternity skirt.

Cravings: Been having a sweet tooth lately. :-/

Food Aversions: I can eat anything right now. I guess you can say that I really had hardly any problem this pregnancy with aversions.

Gender: BOY

Medical Happenings: I saw my Perinatologist on Monday Dec 29th. I had Biophysical Profile and also a follow-up on the blood sugar levels. I saw Dr. Snyder and she changed my insulin. I am not back up to 46 for my NPH at bedtime and I am taking 20 Novolog instead of the 16 that I was taking for breakfast.  Yoni passed the BPP. They did the growth ultrasound and he is in the 89th Percentile. Woah Baby! He weighs approx. 6 lbs and 14oz. I think the screen showed that he was measuring 37w5d. We are gonna have a big boy. And I got a couple ultrasound pictures that I will share with you. I also got the ones from last week scanned that I will share.

From Last Week

His legs were crossed.

From This Week

His lips are puckered... too cute.

I had a NST today on New Year's Eve. The doctor came in and said that she wished all babies came in and had a reading that good. LOL Apparently, whatever it is that he did impressed her. lol He had a lot of movement again during the NST. I am pretty sure that is what they want to see.  Dr. O said that I will most likely be induced on the evening of January 25th.  She said that we will try to get that scheduled next week since I will be close enough to 37 weeks. That is when the normally schedule it. She said to remind the doctor. I think it is her that I see again next week. LOL. She also did a Strep B test. If it comes back positive then I'll have to have antibiotics during L&D. If negative, then none will be needed. I guess I'll find out those results on Friday or so... It will show up in MyChart before I go see the doctor again. She also checked my cervix and to feel if Yoni was head down. She said it feels like he is. I said he should be because he was during the BPP on Monday.

So my next appointment for followup and BPP is on Monday the 5th and my next appointment to have another NST and see my OBGYN is Thursday the 8th.

Emotional Stuff: Just praying that things work out... Feeling anxious as the days go by.

Belly Button – In or Out?: In!

Movement: Love it! He is an active boy.

Sleep: again... What is sleep when you have to pee every 2 to 3 hours. :-)

What I am looking forward to: I started my hospital bag. I need to buy several more things to put in it. I have put some things in the diaper bag... like outfits for Yoni while at the hospital just in case I don't want to keep him in the shirt and diaper only. & I brought a few diapers just in case. But I doubt I'll need them.

I am looking forward to this Sunday. We are looking at houses! If nothing strikes our fancy this Sunday, I am thinking we will for sure have to find a short lease 2 bedroom that we can move into ASAP... or try to make do with this place. AKA Clean and move things around & store elsewhere or something.

Tell someone about my blog, I'd appreciate it. If I haven't covered something that you might have a question to, just ask. Have a happy day!

34 Week Pregnancy Update!

Date: Dec 26, 2014

Due Date: January 31, 2015

How Far Along: 34 weeks and 6 days

Bump Pic: Here is a picture of me at 34 weeks pregnant.

What I miss: Seeing family members for the holiday.

Baby’s Size: Honeydew

Symptoms: Still short of breath and still wake up a lot to go pee in the middle of the night. haha I think Yonatan is on my bladder. lol

Weight Gain: I weighed 226 at the Perinatal Center this past Monday.

Maternity Clothes: I am still wearing some regular clothes which is surprising to me. I may go get a few pieces to add to the wardrobe for this last month of pregnancy. Using some Christmas money.

Cravings: None.

Food Aversions: I can eat anything right now.

Gender: BOY

Medical Happenings: I saw my Perinatologist on Monday Dec 22. I had Biophysical Profile and also a follow-up on the blood sugar levels. I saw Dr. Snyder and she said the sugars look good. But they were a little high before lunch.. so she raised my NPH in the morning to 64 units. Everything else she kept the same. Yoni passed the BPP. And I got a couple ultrasound pictures that I will try to get scanned in for the next time I post an update. He still wouldn't let us get a picture of his face/profile... While there I saw the nurse that is going to be doing the Lamaze class. She came in the room to steal the blood pressure machine. She said she saw my name on the list for January 17th and that she was the one doing that class. So that is good that I already know her. I just hope I make it to that class and tour of the Birthing Center. lol

I had a NST on Christmas Eve. The doctor came in and said that I have a happy baby when she saw the chart. That is funny because his middle name means "happy." Yoni was active during the scan. He is a pretty active baby. Dr. Russell said that we will wait a little longer before scheduling the induction. Pretty soon I will know what day I'll be having Yonatan. Eek... Only about 4 more weeks. I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow! Isn't that crazy!!?

I ran out of NPH this weekend. I had 3/4 the NPH on Christmas morning and was out. I didn't get to take the full amount and I had none before bedtime and none this morning. I really hope that they have some at Kroger today. Otherwise, I will be going to Walgreens today and pray they have it. I have to wait for hubby to get home from work though.
So my next appointment for followup and BPP is on Monday the 29th and my next appointment to have another NST and see my OBGYN is Wednesday the 31st.

Emotional Stuff: Nothing got my emotions this week.

Belly Button – In or Out?: In! But it is looking different.

Movement: I am just amazed when he moves... I can hold my hand on my belly all day and not get sick of it. LOL Love it!!

Sleep: What is sleep when you have to pee every 2 to 3 hours. haha

What I am looking forward to: Again. getting everything ready. I have so much to do. I still need to do a hospital bag, diaper bag, birth plan... I still need to buy a car seat. I'd love to get a co-sleeper or pack n' play... the list does go on. Hoping for a quick sale or hoping to find a short lease 2 bedroom in the meantime of searching for a house. Please Lord Jesus...

Baby Buys:

33 Week Pregnancy Update and Bump Picture

Date: Dec 19, 2014

Due Date: January 31, 2015

How Far Along: 33 weeks and 6 days

Bump Pic: Here is a picture of me at 33 weeks 1 day pregnant (taken on a Sunday.)

What I miss: I am sure if I thought hard enough, I'd miss something this week.

Baby’s Size: Pineapple

Symptoms: Still short of breath and I have been peeing a whole lot again.

Weight Gain: I weighed 223 at the Perinatal Center this past Monday.

Maternity Clothes: I am making use of what I do have but like I said before I wouldn't mind a few more pieces to add to this wardrobe.

Cravings: None.

Food Aversions: I can eat anything right now.

Gender: BOY

Medical Happenings: I saw my Perinatologist on Monday. I had Biophysical Profile and also a follow-up on the blood sugar levels. I saw Dr. Snyder and she said the sugars look good. She did lower my NPH at night to 42 units instead of 46 like I was doing.  Yoni passed the BPP. My fluids were 24.1 last week and this week it was 22.0. Yoni wouldn't let the tech get any pictures. At one point, I saw the back of his head and his ear. LOL He is faced down and he is looking toward my spine. Or that is how the tech described it.

Monday evening, we also had the breastfeeding and basic baby care class. Travis was late for the first hour. I might have learned a couple things in the class. It could have been better. The teacher was funny though. I am going to have to just do some more research on my own and also read the handouts that were given in the class again.

I saw my OBGYN yesterday for the 2nd NST. Yonatan was again active during the NST. But the nurse was able to put the monitor right on and it stayed on for the whole 20 mins. My OB came in and asked if I had any questions. I told her that I was worried about not making the hospital tour and the Lamaze class. She said not to worry that they have great nurses who are good at coaching and whoever the OB is that ends up in labor and delivery with me would be a great coach too. She also said if I was worried about a tour to just go up to that floor of the hospital and see if you could peek into a labor room that isn't in use. I don't like that idea. I'd rather just get the tour. I did call and got put on a waiting list for January 3rd. So hopefully someone will call me and we will be able to go to that class rather than on January 17 (really close to the induction date the following week).... LOL
So my next appointment for followup and BPP is on Monday the 22nd and my next appointment to have another NST is Wednesday the 24th.

Emotional Stuff: Not so bad this week.

Belly Button – In or Out?: In! But it is looking different.

Movement: His movement is so noticeable now! It is an indescribable feeling sometimes.

Sleep: It takes a while to get comfortable. I am thankful for my body pillow but not sure if it is doing the trick. haha

What I am looking forward to: Getting everything ready. I have so much to do. I need to do a hospital bag, diaper bag, birth plan... I still need to buy a car seat. I'd love to get a co-sleeper or pack n' play... the list does go on. Not to mention figure out where baby is going to sleep if we aren't in another place by then.

32 Weeks Pregnancy Update

Date: Dec 12, 2014

Due Date: January 31, 2015

How Far Along: 32 weeks and 6 days

Bump Pic: Here is a picture of me at 32 weeks 1 day pregnant.

What I miss: my husband when he is working!! LOL :)

Baby’s Size: Jicama

Symptoms: Short of breath. I also noticed my toes and feet a little swollen.

Weight Gain: I weighed 223 at the Perinatal Center this past Tuesday.

Maternity Clothes: I am making use of what I do have but like I said before I wouldn't mind a few more pieces to add to this wardrobe.

Cravings: None.

Food Aversions: I can eat anything right now.

Gender: BOY

Medical Happenings: I saw my Perinatologist on Tuesday. I had the first BPP and also a follow-up on the blood sugar levels. I saw Dr. Snyder and she said they looked good and to keep up the good work.  She didn't change my medicine. I was shocked though because I figured something might have been changed with me having been bad around my birthday and our anniversary LOL My mother-in-law got to come back to the ultrasound and I really think it did her some good to see him. I did get several ultrasound pictures of Yoni. At one point he put his hand over his face/eyes like he was saying "No pictures please." It was adorable. I wish the tech could have printed that picture out. I tell you what he isn't even here yet and he has my heart. :)

Face.

A little better one of his face.

Foot.

He had his hand in a fist.

His profile. This was right after his "No picture please" moment. lol

I saw my OBGYN today for the first NST. Yonatan was so active. He was moving around. The first time they put the monitors on him. He moved out of the way and so that part of the NST didn't count. Another person had to come in and try to work her magic. She was able to get it to stay put and he only moved away from the monitor a couple of times within the 23 minutes I was laying there. My doctor said that the reading looked good. She asked me if I was contracting... Apparently I did one time while laying there. I didn't feel anything other than Yoni moving around so much. LOL
So my next appointment for followup and BPP is on Monday the 15th and my next appointment to see the OBGYN and have another NST is the 18th. We've also got 2 childbirth education classes on Monday from 4:30pm to 9pm. They are a basic baby care and breastfeeding class.

Emotional Stuff: The typical worrying.

Belly Button – In or Out?: In! But it is looking different.

Movement: He is on the move. LOL He is a wiggle worm. Especially today during the NST... I definitely can notice him moving around.

Sleep: It is difficult getting comfortable.

What I am looking forward to: getting this place in order & finding a new place. Still haven't heard from the realtor. I emailed her last night. Hopefully we will hear something over the weekend or on Monday.

Baby Buys:
I bought a Carseat Canopy at carseatcanopy.com. Just paid shipping. Use this code to do the same: 6F3068EA3 There are various styles to choose from. Hubby and I just liked the Gray Chevron.

And I bought these cute bibs off of Droolzies on Etsy. Aren't they cute? They shipped to me so quick.

I took some stuff back to Walmart and got these blankets with some of the credit.

I also got a red and white Nursing pillow from nursingpillow.com and here is a code for that. Use code: 908909114. Just pay shipping. They also have various styles to choose from.
Going to start editing the baby shower pictures tonight.

Tell someone about my blog, I'd appreciate it. If I haven't covered something that you might have a question to, just ask. Have a happy day!

31 weeks pregnancy update, baby bump picture & 2 ultrasound pictures of Yonatan

Date: Dec 5, 2014

Due Date: January 31, 2015

How Far Along: 31 weeks and 6 days

Bump Pic: Here is a picture of me at 31 weeks pregnant.

What I miss: Missing David Ahaziah this week especially since December 3rd (also my birthday) was his due date. Also, missing my mom because I know she would have been super excited to see me pregnant.

Baby’s Size: Head of Lettuce.

Symptoms: Clumsiness. Chapped lips still. Tired lately. Slight sore nipples.

Weight Gain: I weighed 222.2 at the Perinatal Center. And from now on, I'll be weighed twice a week at both the Perinatal Center & OBGYN's office. But, I am going to just update with what I weigh at the Perinatal Center.

Maternity Clothes: I still need a few more pieces to add to my wardrobe. I've been wearing out some elastic banded skirts. They don't look the cutest but they are the comfiest and that matters the most. LOL

Cravings: None.

Food Aversions: I can eat anything right now.

Gender: BOY

Medical Happenings: I saw my Perinatalogist on Monday. He didn't change my insulin. Said to work on a an eating schedule and making sure I am eating at the right times. It is harder than it sounds. Especially when you sleep through your alarm and don't wake up in time to start breakfast when you are supposed to. I got a growth ultrasound and got a couple of pictures.

Here is his smudged face. It was much clearer a few seconds before she printed this one off. But look! I am pretty sure he has his dad's lips :)

Here is his profile.

Yonatan is weighing about 4 lbs 10 oz. He is in the 80th percentile in weight and 75th percentile over all in body. The doctor did say we would be discussing c-section if he comes to be in the 90th percentile. Let's hope he stays at 80%. His heart rate was 122 this visit which was good. He was also NOT in the breech position. Yay! I start BBP's next week in the Perinatal office.
I also saw my OBGYN on Wednesday (which was my 35th birthday.) The doctor found Yonatan's heartbeat right away. I asked her a question about jetted tubs since I am going to spend that night in a suite this weekend for our Anniversary... She said they were fine because you can control the heat of the water and it is the heat of the water that would make you and baby overheated. She said if I feel overheated at anytime to get out of the water. I told her that I was just going to enjoy some warm, relaxing water in the Jacuzzi. We talked about my appointment from Monday. I asked her what she thought about his weight and if there was a chance of him being over 90th percentile. She said that we will worry about it if that time comes... Not to stress over it and to enjoy my weekend. I start NST's next week and will continue seeing an OBGYN every two weeks. So my next appointment to see the OBGYN is the 18th.
I scheduled childbirth education classes today. December 15th is a Basic Baby Care & Breastfeeding class and January 17th is Lamaze Class plus tour of the Birthing Center.

Emotional Stuff: So many emotions this week. Travis found a bib that I got him when I first told him I was pregnant with David Ahaziah in '09 and asked if we would use it for Yonatan. I said yes... such a sweet gesture. But I was also bawling my eyes out. :) And I bawled my eyes out today over stuff. So, I can say I am still pretty emotional. LOL

Belly Button – In or Out?: In! But it is looking different.

Movement: Love feeling him move. Sometimes, I feel perfectly normal and then all of a sudden movement and realize that I have this amazing little baby growing inside of me.

Sleep: It is difficult getting comfortable but then I sleep through my alarm... yesterday I slept a good bit when Travis got home from work. It was crazy how tired I was.

What I am looking forward to: Tomorrow night away from the apartment spending time with my love. Actually going out and looking at houses. We are close to doing so... just hope we can get something in time. Say a prayer.

Someone kick me! I still have to do some editing and get those baby shower pictures up.

Tell someone about my blog, I'd appreciate it. If I haven't covered something that you might have a question to, just ask. Have a happy day!
